Your circular performance is real. The market can’t see it yet.

Once we agree to work together, every engagement runs on defined products with a fixed fee and timeline, agreed in writing before work begins. We start with a conversation. We agree the terms. Then we diagnose.

(01) Who we work with, and when

Companies

In mining, metals, materials and manufacturing, ahead of a refinancing, a bond issue, an investor day or a rating review.

Banks

Before a sustainability-linked deal is priced.

Boards

Before approving a circular investment.

A good fit

Circular performance you have already started to measure (recovered materials, recycled inputs, avoided waste); a capital moment in the next 6 to 12 months; lenders or investors who will ask for the evidence.

(02) How we engage

Diagnose → Set a guiding approach → Carry it through

Step 1 · Diagnose

Value Visibility Diagnosis™

Where your value goes unrecognized, and why.

When

6 to 12 months before a capital moment, or when your board asks.

You receive

A confidential diagnosis: two-page diagnostic, five-lens profile, current and addressable score, two reference peers, board-ready summary, debrief with the founder.

Typical duration

Less than one month.

The fee is credited against the Investor-Materiality Translation™.

Step 2 · Set a guiding approach

Investor-Materiality Translation™

The margin, cost and risk arguments the market can recognize.

When

3 to 6 months before the capital moment.

You receive

The investor case: the return of your circular programme, the commodity risk it reduces, a narrative analysts can follow, the peers you should be priced against, how figures will be measured and assured, and a reporting plan, with investor and lender materials.

Typical duration

Six to eight weeks.

Step 3 · Carry it through

Annual Visibility Review

Keeps the case consistent from one year to the next.

When

Every year, and before each capital moment.

You receive

A yearly re-score against your baseline and peers, a brief before each capital moment, a consistency check of each disclosure, support in bringing your board along, and introductions where useful.

Duration

Yearly.

For banks · one deal at a time

Circular KPI Structuring

Circular targets a bank can defend at credit committee and in the market.

When

Before a sustainability-linked bond or loan is priced.

You receive

Materiality screen, KPI dossier, target calibration, readiness note for the second-party opinion, input to the framework.

Typical duration

Four weeks per deal.

We do not issue second-party opinions, so our advice stays independent.

Each product carries a fixed fee and timeline, agreed in writing before work begins.

(03) What a Diagnosis reveals

Companies read through the Value Visibility Framework™. Names withheld.

Case

A diversified industrial and digital group

Found

The group earns a higher return on capital than a leading European peer, yet trades at a markedly lower EV/EBITDA multiple. Almost all of the gap sits in market evidence. The gains from its circular activity are folded into consolidated product economics and never reported separately.

Implication

Break down the expected margin expansion to show the share that comes from circular productivity, in terms analysts can model.

Case

An apparel manufacturer in Asia

Found

Strong governance and advanced circular product practices, well known at home and largely invisible to the international investors and partners the group needs.

Implication

Anchor the circular case in evidence those audiences already rely on, and reach them through the channels they use.

What they have in common

In each case the circular substance was real, and the gap lay in translation. Each called for its own argument. In each, the data existed but had never been disclosed in usable form.

(04) What success looks like

For companies

A lower cost of capital, a higher justified multiple and a smaller earnings-volatility discount.

For banks

More sustainability-linked deals, less greenwashing risk and a clearer view of credit risk.

For boards

A clear basis to decide on circular investments, one that holds when sentiment turns.

These are the outcomes our work is designed to support. They are not guarantees.

(05) How we work

Confidential by default. Nothing is published without your written consent.

Alongside your people. We work with your finance, strategy, investor relations and sustainability teams, and with the operations staff who hold the data.

(06) Circular performance

How well a company keeps materials in use and value in the business: how much of what it uses comes from recycled, reused or renewable sources, how much of what leaves its sites is recovered instead of wasted, and what that means for its costs, risks and revenues.

Think of a miner that reprocesses its tailings into saleable ore, or a manufacturer that takes back and remanufactures its products. Companies can measure it with the Global Circularity Protocol for Business, the global framework launched in 2025 by WBCSD and the One Planet Network.

Definition adapted from the Global Circularity Protocol for Business (WBCSD and One Planet Network, 2025)
